NOTICE: The Date On Your Supplement Is Not An Expiration Date!
Due to the rules within FDA's Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) regulations, we recently changed the manner in which we date items with Nutritional Therapeutics® brand labels.
Dietary supplement products (products labeled with supplement facts) labeled on or after July 21, 2010, will display a "DOM" or Date of Manufacture (or "born on" date) rather then the "expiration or best by date" currently displayed. This date represents the day on which the product in the bottle was manufactured.
There has been no change to the product itself.
All Nutritional Therapeutics products are produced by GMP-compliant manufacturers that meet specified standards for quality and stability. We require, and will continue to require, that our manufacturers develop and formulate products to maintain their quality for the expected timeframe.
In most cases, products are considered stable at full potency for three years from the manufacture date.*
At Nutritional Therapeutics one of our primary goals has always been to provide you with the freshest product possible. We bottle all of our vitamins and dietary supplements in our own facility, which allows us to control our inventory and deliver you guaranteed freshness.
This change is due to a modification of regulatory requirements and does not represent a change in the quality of Nutritional Therapeutics brand supplements. Our products continue to meet and exceed the most stringent quality standards.
Please note: All NTI brand supplements bottled prior to July 21, 2010, will have the best before date on the bottle; therefore, you may still receive products with a best before date as we transition to the newer labels. The Manufacture Date printed on the label represents the date the product was produced in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) regulations.
